{"id":225490,"date":"2017-08-22T10:17:58","date_gmt":"2017-08-22T08:17:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=225490"},"modified":"2017-08-22T10:23:27","modified_gmt":"2017-08-22T08:23:27","slug":"dstv-extra-package-changing-to-compact-plus-free-trial-for-subscribers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/225490-dstv-extra-package-changing-to-compact-plus-free-trial-for-subscribers.html","title":{"rendered":"DStv Extra package changing to Compact Plus &#8211; Free trial for subscribers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MultiChoice is renaming its DStv Extra package to\u00a0DStv Compact Plus from today.<\/p>\n<p>The package &#8211; which sits between DStv Premium and DStv Compact, is priced at\u00a0R489 a month and offers sport, and general and kids\u2019 entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Customers on this package also receive access to BoxOffice, Catch Up, and DStv Now,&#8221; said MultiChoice.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;DStv Compact Plus is a great solution for our Compact customers looking for more entertainment for their family,&#8221; said Mark Rayner, CEO for MultiChoice South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This change will also eliminate any confusion between the Extra package and the company\u2019s XtraView service.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Compact special<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;MultiChoice also has a surprise for DStv Compact customers.
