{"id":227931,"date":"2017-09-06T07:59:11","date_gmt":"2017-09-06T05:59:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=227931"},"modified":"2017-09-06T08:01:43","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T06:01:43","slug":"google-unveils-inside-music","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/227931-google-unveils-inside-music.html","title":{"rendered":"Google unveils Inside Music"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blog.google\/products\/google-vr\/step-inside-music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Google has unveiled Inside Music<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; a service which lets people \u201cstep inside their favourite song&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The project is a collaboration with the podcast Song Exploder and artists from different genres, including Phoenix and Perfume Genius.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe experiment lets you explore layers of music all around you, using spatial audio to understand how a piece of music is composed,\u201d said Google.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can even turn layers on and off, letting you hear the individual pieces of a song in a new way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Inside Music is built using WebVR, which lets users open it directly in their web browser.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can try it on a virtual reality headset, phone, or laptop.
