Google Chrome 63 will include new security features when its launches, including the ability to detect\u00a0Man-in-the-Middle attacks.<\/p>\n
According to a report by Bleeping Computer<\/strong><\/a>, Chrome will identify if\u00a0third-party software is performing the attack – which takes place when an application intercepts the user’s Internet traffic.<\/p>\n Chrome will show users a warning screen when it detects a\u00a0Man-in-the-Middle attack. It will base the warning on the detection of a\u00a0large number of SSL connection errors in a short timespan.<\/p>\n The report stated that this is a common sign an attack is taking place on HTTPS traffic, as most attacks fail to\u00a0correctly rewrite a user’s encrypted connections.<\/p>\n Google is set to release Chrome 63 on 5 December.
