{"id":233299,"date":"2017-10-15T10:52:29","date_gmt":"2017-10-15T08:52:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=233299"},"modified":"2017-10-15T10:54:03","modified_gmt":"2017-10-15T08:54:03","slug":"rain-network-problems-resolved","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wireless\/233299-rain-network-problems-resolved.html","title":{"rendered":"Rain network problems resolved"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rain\u2019s LTE-A network was hit by outages this morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cClients connecting with the Afrihost fixed wireless Internet may experience intermittent or no connectivity to international sites,\u201d said Afrihost.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur team is working with our upstream providers to identify and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Webafrica\u2019s website carried a similar notice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are currently experiencing connectivity issues on our LTE Network. Users may experience limited to no connectivity,\u201d said Webafrica.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/917137-RAIN-Network-down\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Subscribers reported<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0they were able to access certain sites, and that Rain\u2019s links to certain local content providers appear to be up.<\/p>\n<p>Connectivity to several international locations was down, however.<\/p>\n<p>Rain said its network was not down, but had a problem with it upstream Internet provider.
