Nvidia recently launched its GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, which offers high-end performance.<\/p>\n

The new card sits between the GTX 1070 and the GTX 1080 in terms of specifications and performance, and will compete against\u00a0AMD’s RX Vega graphics cards.<\/p>\n

The GTX 1070 Ti is based on the same Pascal architecture as the 1070, although it lacks the GDDR5X memory used by the GTX 1080.<\/p>\n

AMD’s RX Vega cards – the Vega 56 and Vega 64 – are built on a new architecture and\u00a0make use of High-Bandwidth Memory Gen. 2 VRAM, which offers a larger interface and better bandwidth than GDDR5 memory.<\/p>\n

Comparison<\/h3>\n

The air-cooled Radeon RX Vega 64 is included in the comparison, as it is closer to the performance levels of the GTX 1070 Ti and is considerably cheaper than the liquid-cooled version.<\/p>\n

Performance<\/h3>\n

Early benchmarks put the GTX 1070 Ti on the same level as the Radeon RX Vega 56 in both 3DMark Fire Strike and Time Spy performance.<\/p>\n

The benchmarks are indicative of modern gaming performance, and would place the GTX 1070 Ti as a high-end GPU.<\/p>\n
