{"id":235924,"date":"2017-11-03T07:52:00","date_gmt":"2017-11-03T05:52:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=235924"},"modified":"2017-11-03T07:54:04","modified_gmt":"2017-11-03T05:54:04","slug":"cia-releases-osama-bin-ladens-computer-files","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/235924-cia-releases-osama-bin-ladens-computer-files.html","title":{"rendered":"CIA releases Osama Bin Laden&#8217;s computer files"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CIA has <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cia.gov\/library\/abbottabad-compound\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">released files<\/a><\/strong> recovered after a raid on Osama Bin Laden&#8217;s compound in May 2011.\u00a0Bin Laden was killed in the raid.<\/p>\n<p>The CIA has reportedly released over 470,000 files, which include 174GB of video, 7.4GB of images, and 18GB of documents.<\/p>\n<p>The release comes with a warning from the CIA against downloading files onto your device without protection.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Prior to accessing this file collection, please understand that this material was seized from a terrorist organisation.
