Java, C, and C++ remain the most popular programming languages in the world, according to the Tiobe Index<\/strong><\/a> for November 2017.<\/p>\n

While Python has remained popular, other scripting languages such as Perl, PHP, and Ruby have continued to decline in popularity.<\/p>\n

This is reportedly due to the difficulty in writing a critical and large software system which meets high-quality demands.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven a scripting language such as JavaScript that is inevitable while doing web programming was forced to evolve to a safer language,\u201d stated the report.<\/p>\n

The PYPL rankings<\/strong><\/a> also showed Java at the top of the list, followed by Python and PHP.<\/p>\n

The top 10 programming languages for November, according to the Tiobe Index and PYPL rankings, are detailed below.<\/p>\n

Calculating the rankings<\/h3>\n

PYPL \u2013<\/strong> The more a language tutorial is searched, the more popular the language is assumed to be. The raw data comes from Google Trends.<\/p>\n

Tiobe \u2013<\/strong> The ratings are based on the number of skilled engineers worldwide, courses, and third-party vendors. Popular search engines are also used to calculate the ratings.<\/p>\n
