2018 Pricing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ICASA has published the latest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.za\/sites\/default\/files\/41377_gen6.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>postage rates and service fees<\/strong><\/a> for the South African Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>The new fees will apply from 1 April 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Post Office offers a variety of postal services, including the delivery of small and large parcels to local and international destinations.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">Domestic parcels<\/h3>\n<p class=\"p1\">Any domestic postal item larger than 250 x 353 mm and\/or thicker than 30mm and\/or weighing more than 1kg is considered a parcel, said the Post Office.<\/p>\n<p>Domestic parcel services are available at all post offices, and counter-to-counter deliveries are charged as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>R52.50<\/strong> for the first kilogram.<\/li>\n<li><strong>R7.05<\/strong> for each additional kilogram or part of a kilogram.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">International parcels<\/h3>\n<p>Parcel services are also available worldwide, either by airmail or surface mail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These services may be accessed by posting either at post offices or by posting in street posting boxes,&#8221;
