Vodacom launched Yebo Radio on the 3rd of November last year in a drive to extend the mobile provider’s current product portfolio and create additional revenue streams. <\/p>\n
Initially the radio station was not available country wide, but it has recently been extended to cover all Vodacom retail outlets and Vodacom Walk-in Customer Care Centres.<\/p>\n
The company has further plans to provide access to their service through both mobile phones and the Internet.<\/p>\n
“Yebo Radio has been designed to entertain Vodacom staff as well as customers shopping at Vodaworld, any of Vodacom’s retail outlets and Vodacom Walk-in Customer Care Centres. This service is destined to be streamed to cellphones in the future.” Vodacom said.<\/p>\n
Yebo Radio is currently ‘making waves’ from 8am to 9pm, and it is headed up by the experienced radio campaigner Tom London who hailed from Radio 702.<\/p>\n
