{"id":259315,"date":"2018-05-08T19:40:22","date_gmt":"2018-05-08T17:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=259315"},"modified":"2018-05-08T19:43:16","modified_gmt":"2018-05-08T17:43:16","slug":"google-launches-auto-complete-sentences-in-gmail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/259315-google-launches-auto-complete-sentences-in-gmail.html","title":{"rendered":"Google launches auto-complete sentences in Gmail"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google has launched <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/products\/gmail\/subject-write-emails-faster-smart-compose-gmail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Smart Compose<\/strong><\/a> for Gmail at its Google I\/O event in California.<\/p>\n<p>Smart Compose lets Gmail users put together emails faster, thanks to its\u00a0artificial intelligence system which composes suggested sentences in your email as you type.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;From your greeting to your closing, and common phrases in between, Smart Compose suggests complete sentences in your emails so that you can draft them with ease,&#8221; said Google.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Because it operates in the background, you can write an email like you normally would, and Smart Compose will offer suggestions as you type. When you see a suggestion that you like, click the tab button to use it.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Google said\u00a0Smart Compose saves users time by &#8220;cutting back on repetitive writing&#8221;. It also reduces the chance of\u00a0spelling and grammatical errors in your mail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It can even suggest relevant contextual phrases.
