{"id":260165,"date":"2018-05-15T16:47:56","date_gmt":"2018-05-15T14:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=260165"},"modified":"2018-05-15T16:51:27","modified_gmt":"2018-05-15T14:51:27","slug":"microsoft-unveils-surface-hub-2-display","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/260165-microsoft-unveils-surface-hub-2-display.html","title":{"rendered":"Microsoft unveils Surface Hub 2 display"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Microsoft has unveiled the <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.windows.com\/devices\/2018\/05\/15\/meet-surface-hub-2\/#2OJCywgzweWosRFq.97\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Surface Hub 2<\/strong><\/a>, a large-format display aimed at the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Surface Hub 2 was designed from the ground up to be used by teams,&#8221; said Panos Panay, Microsoft Chief Product Officer.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The gorgeous 4K+ 50.5-inch multi-touch display (3\u00d72 aspect ratio) creates an inviting canvas to co-create, harnessing the power of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Whiteboard, Office 365, Windows 10 and the intelligent cloud.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It also features\u00a04K cameras that rotate with the device, integrated speakers, microphone arrays, and the ability to link multiple displays.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Surface Hub 2 scales and adapts to your space through tiling up to four screens together in portrait or landscape view,&#8221; said\u00a0Panay.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the display can be moved around thanks to Microsoft&#8217;s partnership with\u00a0Steelcase to create a system of rolling stands.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In 2018, we will begin to test Surface Hub 2 with select commercial customers.
