{"id":262155,"date":"2018-05-29T07:28:43","date_gmt":"2018-05-29T05:28:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=262155"},"modified":"2018-05-29T07:30:26","modified_gmt":"2018-05-29T05:30:26","slug":"plasticine-circuits-tech-meets-art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/262155-plasticine-circuits-tech-meets-art.html","title":{"rendered":"Plasticine circuits &#8211; Tech meets Art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Artist Tim Easley was recently commissioned by the record label Albert&#8217;s Favourites to create unique artwork for their latest release by Modified Man called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behance.net\/gallery\/64821947\/Modified-Man\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Modifications: Set 2<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Modified Man creates electronic tracks, combining vintage instruments and live performances.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe idea behind the cover was how the modified men of the future may make artwork out of ancient circuit boards,\u201d said Easley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor this I created a design with representations of computer chips and wires.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 50x50cm artwork was sculpted out of plasticine and took around 80 hours to complete.<\/p>\n<p>To create the Modifications: Set 2 album cover, Easley photographed the circuit board artwork from different angles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom this I created the cover and did the design for the rear. The artwork will be used in various other guises for other Modified Man releases in the set.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a  data-lightbox=\"post-image\"
