Java, C, and C++ remain the most popular programming languages in the world, according to the Tiobe Index<\/strong><\/a> for July 2018.<\/p>\n

Other popular languages include Python, JavaScript, and PHP, according to the rankings.<\/p>\n

Tiobe noted that after debuting in the top 100 index last month, TypeScript has continued to rise in popularity and has now entered the top 50.<\/p>\n

Objective-C has also returned to the top 10 rankings, with other languages such as Lua and F# seeing growth.<\/p>\n

The PYPL rankings<\/strong><\/a> showed Python at the top of its list, followed by Java and JavaScript.<\/p>\n

Calculating the rankings<\/h3>\n

PYPL<\/strong> \u2013 The more a language tutorial is searched, the more popular the language is assumed to be. The raw data comes from Google Trends.<\/p>\n

Tiobe<\/strong> \u2013 The ratings are based on the number of skilled engineers worldwide, courses, and third-party vendors. Popular search engines are also used to calculate the ratings.<\/p>\n
