{"id":269031,"date":"2018-07-19T17:28:00","date_gmt":"2018-07-19T15:28:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=269031"},"modified":"2018-07-19T17:34:47","modified_gmt":"2018-07-19T15:34:47","slug":"telkom-website-shows-users-hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/269031-telkom-website-shows-users-hello-world.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom website shows users &#8220;Hello World&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MyBroadband Forum members have spotted that Telkom&#8217;s website is not working as it should.<\/p>\n<p>If you access the website using the URL &#8211; <strong>http:\/\/telkom.co.za\/<\/strong> &#8211; you are presented with a plain white page, with the words &#8220;Hello World&#8221; at the top.<\/p>\n<p>The page does not redirect to Telkom&#8217;s active website, as one would expect.<\/p>\n<p>Further investigation found that using the URL &#8211;\u00a0<strong>www.telkom.co.za<\/strong> &#8211; takes users to the Telkom website, but not an &#8220;https&#8221; secure version &#8211; leaving a user&#8217;s browser stating that their connection to the site is not secure.<\/p>\n<p>Navigating to &#8211; <strong>https:\/\/telkom.co.za\/<\/strong> &#8211; does not take you to the site at all.
