{"id":272589,"date":"2018-08-20T17:12:24","date_gmt":"2018-08-20T15:12:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=272589"},"modified":"2018-08-20T17:14:10","modified_gmt":"2018-08-20T15:14:10","slug":"google-removes-dark-mode-from-android-messages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/272589-google-removes-dark-mode-from-android-messages.html","title":{"rendered":"Google removes dark mode from Android Messages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google has rolled back its latest Android Messages update and removed the dark mode features, according to reports from users on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/GooglePixel\/comments\/987sn8\/lost_the_dark_mode_on_messages\/?sort=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Reddit<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The new update rolled out to users last week and included an overhauled user interface in addition to an &#8220;enable dark mode&#8221; toggle.<\/p>\n<p>It also sported the company&#8217;s Google Sans font and a cleaner chat interface.<\/p>\n<p>While the new version of Android Messages was rolling out to users, Google opted to pull the new update &#8211; reverting back to the old version.
