{"id":273401,"date":"2018-08-28T10:33:14","date_gmt":"2018-08-28T08:33:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=273401"},"modified":"2018-08-28T10:35:11","modified_gmt":"2018-08-28T08:35:11","slug":"check-how-much-youtube-you-really-watch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/273401-check-how-much-youtube-you-really-watch.html","title":{"rendered":"Check how much YouTube you really watch"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>YouTube has <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/youtube.googleblog.com\/2018\/08\/tools-to-take-charge-of-your-digital.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">launched<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0an addition to user profiles which show how much video you&#8217;ve watched on the platform.<\/p>\n<p>The new feature is part of Google&#8217;s &#8220;Digital Wellbeing&#8221; initiative unveiled at Google I\/O in May 2018, said the company.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our goal is to provide a better understanding of time spent on YouTube,&#8221; said Google.<\/p>\n<p>Your profile on YouTube will now show how much video you&#8217;ve watched today, yesterday, and over the past week.
