and cost you money &#8211; when it is used to share large photos, videos, or make video calls.<\/p>\n<p>This can become costly if you do not have a large data bundle, which makes mobile data usage more affordable.<\/p>\n<p>Good news for those who cannot afford large data bundles is that three mobile operators \u2013 Cell C, Vodacom, and MTN \u2013 offer standalone WhatsApp data bundles at lower rates than standard data bundles.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"my-4\">WhatsApp data bundles<\/h3>\n<p>Cell C, Vodacom, and MTN\u2019s WhatsApp data bundles offer capped data use on WhatsApp for certain periods at a reduced data rate.<\/p>\n<p>Most WhatsApp services are included in the data bundles offered, excluding voice and video calling &#8211; as shown in the relevant terms and conditions below.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Vodacom<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThis WhatsApp Ticket offers customers access to WhatsApp messaging app, send and receive messages, videos and audio files via WhatsApp. This service excludes voice calling and video calling.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>MTN<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cPlease note that the WhatsApp bundle inclusive data cannot be used for WhatsApp calling &amp;
