A researcher has found that Telegram’s\u00a0default configuration leaked a user’s IP address when making a call.<\/p>\n
According to Bleeping Computer<\/strong><\/a>, the default setting for Telegram sees voice calls being made over\u00a0P2P – and the IP address of the contact you are speaking to is shown in the\u00a0Telegram console logs.<\/p>\n “Not all versions include a console log,” stated the report.<\/p>\n Telegram’s app does allow users to change this setting in\u00a0iOS and Android.
