Instagram’s website is down, returning an error when users navigate to https:\/\/instagram.com.<\/p>\n

Attempting to access the website returns a blank page with the following text: “5xx Server Error”.<\/p>\n

Website monitoring platform Down Detector showed a massive spike in user reports of problems with Instagram, with issues beginning at 09:24.<\/p>\n

Other reports<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0suggest the website is not the only service affected, with the Instagram mobile application also experiencing problems.<\/p>\n

Users have taken to other forms of social media, including Twitter<\/strong><\/a>, to report issues with the platform.<\/p>\n
