{"id":27895,"date":"2011-06-30T14:03:48","date_gmt":"2011-06-30T12:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=27895"},"modified":"2011-06-30T14:10:41","modified_gmt":"2011-06-30T12:10:41","slug":"cell-c-prepaid-data-10c-per-mb","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/27895-cell-c-prepaid-data-10c-per-mb.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C Prepaid: Free data and airtime?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cell C prepaid customers are <a title=\"Cell C promotion\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/346317-Cell-C-10MB-data-1sms-for-every-R1-you-recharge\">reporting on the MyBroadband forums<\/a> that the operator has launched a promotion that offers 10 megabytes (MB) of data for every R1 recharged.<\/p>\n<p>According to one user, Cell C announced the promotion to users with the following SMS: \u201cGet 10MB Data + 1SMS for every R1 u recharge. Min recharge of R50 to qualify. The more u recharge the more u get. Max 100SMS &amp; 1000MB p\/week.\u201d At least two users have confirmed the promotion, with one saying they were able to make use of it on their \u201cSmartdata\u201d prepaid package.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the R50 minimum (and R100 maximum), it was also reported that the recharge rewards expire every Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>MyBroadband was also able to verify with a Cell C prepaid SIM that recharging with R50 prompted the following SMS from Cell C:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks for recharging.
