While the company did demonstrate a 64 bit plug in prototype back in 2008, it dropped development around a year ago, with \u201csignificant architectural changes\u201d as the cause. Other concerns, such as improving Flash\u2019s performance and reliability on mobile devices has seen this project take a back seat until now.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the 64 bit support, version 11 of Flash includes Stage3D APIs, which provide hardware accelerated 3D rendering within Flash.
