{"id":306076,"date":"2019-05-14T08:03:10","date_gmt":"2019-05-14T06:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=306076"},"modified":"2019-05-14T08:29:49","modified_gmt":"2019-05-14T06:29:49","slug":"lenovo-working-on-foldable-thinkpad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/hardware\/306076-lenovo-working-on-foldable-thinkpad.html","title":{"rendered":"Lenovo working on foldable ThinkPad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/news.lenovo.com\/pressroom\/press-releases\/lenovo-unveils-preview-worlds-first-foldable-pc-thinkpad-x1-family\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Lenovo announced<\/strong><\/a> that it has developed what it claims to be the world&#8217;s first-ever foldable PC.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 company showed off its foldable ThinkPad X1 prototype at its Accelerate conference in Florida yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The prototype uses a 13.3-inch OLED 2K display which has been designed in collaboration with LG and can fold in half.<\/p>\n<p>Lenovo&#8217;s foldable ThinkPad X1 is powered by an Intel processor and uses a Windows operating system, although the company did not state which processor model or operating system version is used by the device.<\/p>\n<p>Lenovo did not provide any performance specifications for the prototype device, but claims that it is made for &#8220;highly mobile, tech savvy professionals who demand the best tools&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is not a phone, tablet, or familiar hybrid;
