{"id":319955,"date":"2019-09-13T09:33:30","date_gmt":"2019-09-13T07:33:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=319955"},"modified":"2019-09-13T10:05:11","modified_gmt":"2019-09-13T08:05:11","slug":"cell-c-suffers-massive-downtime","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/319955-cell-c-suffers-massive-downtime.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C suffers WhatsApp downtime"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Cell C&#8217;s mobile network is suffering significant downtime across the country, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/downdetector.co.za\/status\/cell-c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>DownDetector<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An increase in network outage reports began at about 07:00, and the number of complaints increased substantially over time.<\/p>\n<p>The mobile network&#8217;s Twitter account was also inundated with reports of network issues.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There was an issue, however our engineers are working on resolving it.
