{"id":326547,"date":"2019-11-06T12:29:30","date_gmt":"2019-11-06T10:29:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=326547"},"modified":"2019-11-06T12:31:37","modified_gmt":"2019-11-06T10:31:37","slug":"sa-post-office-parcel-delivery-scam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/326547-sa-post-office-parcel-delivery-scam.html","title":{"rendered":"SA Post Office parcel delivery scam"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The South African Post Office has issued a warning about a parcel delivery scam designed to defraud clients.<\/p>\n<p>The SA Post Office parcel delivery scam works as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The scammers send an SMS informing them their parcel cannot be delivered because VAT needs to be paid on the parcel.<\/li>\n<li>The SMS contains a link to a web page where they are requested to deposit money into a bank account.<\/li>\n<li>This bank account belongs to the criminals.
