{"id":339180,"date":"2020-02-18T08:17:44","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T06:17:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=339180"},"modified":"2020-02-18T08:19:10","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T06:19:10","slug":"botched-windows-10-update-uninstall-now","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/security\/339180-botched-windows-10-update-uninstall-now.html","title":{"rendered":"Botched Windows 10 update &#8211; Uninstall now"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Microsoft <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-za\/help\/4524244\/security-update-for-windows-10-february-11-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>security update<\/strong><\/a> for Windows 10 has been pulled by the tech giant following several issues suffered by users.<\/p>\n<p>The update is causing many users to be unable to reset their PCs, while others suffered installation failure errors when the updated was installed.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Using the &#8216;Reset this PC&#8217; feature, also called &#8216;Push Button Reset&#8217; or PBR, might fail.
