{"id":35194,"date":"2011-10-04T09:36:55","date_gmt":"2011-10-04T07:36:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=35194"},"modified":"2011-10-04T09:38:52","modified_gmt":"2011-10-04T07:38:52","slug":"apple-rejects-samsung-settlement-offer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/technology\/35194-apple-rejects-samsung-settlement-offer.html","title":{"rendered":"Apple rejects Samsung settlement offer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Samsung\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/333656-Samsung\">Samsung<\/a> approached the Cupertino based company last week with an offer to help secure a quick court ruling which would see Samsung able to immediately launch the Galaxy Tab range of tablet PC devices in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>However, <a title=\"Apple\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342717-Apple-inc\">Apple<\/a> rejected the offer, saying the proposal by Samsung provided no basis for a settlement.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It is one we don&#8217;t accept and there is no surprise.
