{"id":35790,"date":"2011-10-11T10:55:18","date_gmt":"2011-10-11T08:55:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=35790"},"modified":"2013-04-26T10:41:41","modified_gmt":"2013-04-26T08:41:41","slug":"blackberry-internet-services-back-online","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/35790-blackberry-internet-services-back-online.html","title":{"rendered":"BlackBerry Internet services back online"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Summary<\/span>: The downtime experienced by BlackBerry users since 10 October 2011 has been resolved according to Research in Motion.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>BlackBerry users in South Africa reported this morning (11 October 2011) that they are no longer experiencing the connectivity problems they had yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Research in Motion have now confirmed that the issues plaguing their Internet service have been resolved.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after extensive outages were reported in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region yesterday, which were later confirmed by RIM.<\/p>\n<p>The problems started shortly after 09:00 GMT on 10 October 2011 and lasted for many hours.
