{"id":36034,"date":"2011-10-13T16:27:30","date_gmt":"2011-10-13T14:27:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=36034"},"modified":"2011-10-14T09:59:54","modified_gmt":"2011-10-14T07:59:54","slug":"cell-c-to-compensate-blackberry-users","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/cellular\/36034-cell-c-to-compensate-blackberry-users.html","title":{"rendered":"Cell C to compensate BlackBerry users"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"Cell C\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/213919-Cell-C\">Cell C<\/a> today announced that they will be compensating their <a title=\"BlackBerry\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/342709-BlackBerry\">BlackBerry<\/a> customers for the prolonged downtime this week.<\/p>\n<p>Cell C said that they will give their customers R10 off the cost of their Blackberry Internet\/Enterprise Service for the month of October and 10 free SMSes for the time they could not use Blackberry Messenger.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhile Cell C had no role in the service disruption, the company wants to ensure customers are compensated for the loss of service as a gesture of goodwill.
