Research In Motion (RIM) today released the BlackBerry Bold smartphone, the first BlackBerry with high-speed HSDPA support as well as being tri-band capable. <\/p>\n
The BlackBerry Bold is aimed at RIM's core business market with its up-market looks, but the company is also hoping it will also find its place in the broader market.<\/p>\n
The BlackBerry Bold supports enterprise-grade Wi-Fi (802.11 a\/b\/g) networks and runs on a 624MHz mobile processor. The Bold ships with 128 MB Flash memory plus 1 GB on-board storage memory, as well having a microSD\/SDHC memory card slot supporting up to 8MB of storage. <\/p>\n

The BlackBerry Bold ships with the usual producitivy applications including phone, email, messaging, organiser and browser. The smartphone also has an integrated GPS. <\/p>\n
The half-VGA (480×320 resolution) colour LCD is the most impressive screen on a Blackberry to date.<\/p>\n
