{"id":379672,"date":"2020-12-10T12:54:03","date_gmt":"2020-12-10T10:54:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=379672"},"modified":"2020-12-10T12:56:42","modified_gmt":"2020-12-10T10:56:42","slug":"rip-adobe-flash-player","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/379672-rip-adobe-flash-player.html","title":{"rendered":"RIP Adobe Flash Player"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Adobe has published the final scheduled update for its Flash Player plugin.<\/p>\n<p>The only exception is mainland China, which uses a separate version of the software and therefore has a different update release schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Adobe will stop supporting its Flash Player from 31 December 2020, and will actively block Flash content from running on 12 January 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today marks the final scheduled release of Flash Player for all regions outside of Mainland China,&#8221; confirmed Adobe in its latest <a href=\"https:\/\/helpx.adobe.com\/flash-player\/release-note\/fp_32_air_32_release_notes.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>release notes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We want to take a moment to thank all of our customers and developers who have used and created amazing Flash Player content over the last two decades.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are proud that Flash had a crucial role in evolving web content across animation, interactivity, audio, and video.
