ADSL service provider Cybersmart is close to launching a new product called Nightrider, a service which will allow ADSL subscribers five times the typical bandwidth allowance when used between 1am and 7am. <\/p>\n
Cybersmart MD, Laurie Fialkov, explains: “So if you use 15 gigabytes during the month during these times, only 3 gigabytes will count towards your cap.”<\/p>\n
This will be the first product in the market where ‘quiet’ times on the network are exploited to pass savings and benefits on to consumers.<\/p>\n
This product follows other innovative offerings from Cybersmart and its subsidiary ISP SAOL, including its all-in-one DSL 384 service with a 1GB account for R138 for the first 12 months of a 24 month contract.<\/p>\n
The company’s one-price DSL 384 service with a 15GB account and static IP address for R 499, and its 20GB local cap add-on for R74 also raised eyebrows when it was launched a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Cybersmart could not commit to a firm launch date of its Nightrider product, but Fialkov is confident that it will ready within the next few weeks.<\/p>\n
