{"id":3854,"date":"2008-05-20T16:07:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-20T14:07:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-05-20T16:07:00","modified_gmt":"2008-05-20T14:07:00","slug":"telkom-mum-on-network-problems","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/3854-telkom-mum-on-network-problems.html","title":{"rendered":"Telkom mum on network problems"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telkom users accessing the Verizon Business Network using the  Johannesburg-Cape Town link continue to suffer from high latency and packet  loss. <\/p>\n<p>This problem started early last week, and Verizon Business indicated that a  lack of infrastructure on Telkom&rsquo;s side of the peering infrastructure is causing  problems.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The matter has been escalated by Verizon to the relative executives in  Telkom and upgrades are being scheduled within the next two days.
