{"id":3965,"date":"2008-05-31T12:50:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-31T10:50:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2008-05-31T12:50:00","modified_gmt":"2008-05-31T10:50:00","slug":"sabc-board-under-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/3965-sabc-board-under-fire.html","title":{"rendered":"SABC board under fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The South Africa Broadcasting Corporation&#8217;s (SABC) board should step down with immediate effect, union members said on Friday. <\/p>\n<p>The board had brought the SABC into disrepute and should therefore resign, the Broadcast, Electronic , Media and Allied Workers Union (Bemawu) said. <\/p>\n<p>Spokesperson Hannes du Buisson said it was not competent to oversee such an important organisation.
