While BlackBerry sales slumped globally, local sales are as high as ever.

Since April 2011 Vodacom sold 600,000 BlackBerry phones, far higher than the 70,000 iPhones and 100,000 Android devices added over the last seven months.

iPhone and Android should however get a boost in numbers over the next few months with the launch of the iPhone 4S in South Africa and the latest Android OS, Ice Cream Sandwich.

iPhone vs BlackBerry vs Android

Latest smartphone statistics on the Vodacom network sheds light on the big smartphone winner in SA

[14
397,97,35,1125,281
post-39797","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-cellular","tag-android","tag-blackberry","tag-headline","tag-iphone","tag-pieter-uys
