target=\"_blank\">Nielsens<\/a>, <a title=\"Google\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/314567-Google\">Google<\/a> was the top internet destination in 2011, closely followed by <a title=\"Facebook\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/348566-Facebook\">Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The search giant logged an average of 153.4 million unique visitors per months, marginally higher than Facebook\u2019s average monthly unique visitor count of 137.6 million.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Yahoo!\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/363118-Yahoo\">Yahoo<\/a> rounded off the top three with 130.1 million unique monthly visitors<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Microsoft\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/211580-Microsoft\">Microsoft<\/a> networks (MSN\/WindowsLive\/Bing) and Google\u2019s <a title=\"YouTube\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/363498-YouTube\">YouTube<\/a> filled out the top 5 spots.<\/p>\n<p>Google may be the top internet destination for 2011, but Facebook retains its position as the top Social network over the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>It was followed by Blogger at 45.7 million, and <a title=\"Twitter\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/359584-Twitter\">Twitter<\/a> at 23.5 million.<\/p>\n<p>Google+ sits in 8<sup>th<\/sup> place, with 8.2 million average monthly unique
