According to Interbrand\u2019s Best Global Brands of 2011 report, Apple has broken into the top 10 to become the eighth most valuable brand in the world.<\/p>\n

The Cupertino-based company jumped 9 spots to place in the top 10 for the first time in the company\u2019s history. Year-on-year Apple<\/a> brand value jumped by 58 percent to settle at an estimated worth of $33.49 billion (R270.43 billion).<\/p>\n

Apple saw the greatest growth of all the brands listed, as well as the second highest jump in rankings.<\/p>\n

Other notable technology companies on the list include Amazon<\/a>, who jumped by 10 spots to take spot number 26. Their year-on-year value increased by 32 percent.<\/p>\n

Samsung<\/a> jumped two spots to take 17th<\/sup> overall, with a 20 percent increase at an estimated brand value of $23.43 billion (R189.19billion).<\/p>\n

  10. Hewlett Packard<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
