{"id":416118,"date":"2021-09-28T17:03:06","date_gmt":"2021-09-28T15:03:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=416118"},"modified":"2021-09-28T17:05:49","modified_gmt":"2021-09-28T15:05:49","slug":"new-ipad-mini-has-a-scrolling-problem","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/gadgets\/416118-new-ipad-mini-has-a-scrolling-problem.html","title":{"rendered":"New iPad Mini has a scrolling problem"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple customers who purchased the latest generation of iPad Mini are experiencing an issue when scrolling in portrait mode, according to a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2021\/09\/27\/ipad-mini-6-jelly-scroll-issue-vertical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MacRumors report.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cJelly Scroll\u201d \u2014 as users have termed the issue \u2014 makes it look as though one side of the display is responding faster than the other and is not reproducible when scrolling in landscape mode.<\/p>\n<p>MacRumors confirmed that the problem with the refresh rate was present on all display models at its local Apple Store.<\/p>\n<p>The Verge\u2019s Dieter Bohn posted a slow-motion video depicting the scrolling issue.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Here is is slow-mo video of scrolling on the iPad Min i slowed down EVEN MORE in a frame-by-frame step through. Notice how the right moves up faster than the left.<\/p>\n<p>In normal usage you barely see it, but every now and then it become noticeable.
