feature now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Twitter has rolled out a new feature that allows users to remove followers without blocking them.<\/p>\n<p>After being <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/internet\/413048-twitter-tests-new-soft-block-feature.html\">tested in early September<\/a><\/strong>, the &#8220;soft block&#8221; feature is now available through Twitter&#8217;s web interface.<\/p>\n<p>Removing a follower will hide your tweets from their feed and stop them from receiving notifications when you make a post.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter said the feature would make it easier for users to curate their follower lists.<\/p>\n<p>It should also reduce harassment, trolling, and online abuse by malicious users.<\/p>\n<p>To remove a follower, users can follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open your profile<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Followers&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Click the three-dot icon to the right of the follower&#8217;s name<\/li>\n<li>Select &#8220;Remove this follower&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">rolling out to everyone on the web today&#x1f447;
