This is according to the latest Point-Topic IPTV report.<\/p>\n<p>The Point-Topic report highlights that IPTV growth is hampered by the requirement for higher bandwidth and higher cost tariffs than other applications.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith significant competition from many other options for a TV feed there are barriers that prevent IPTV from exploding in subscriber terms. However it is steadily spreading through the consumer universe and generates significant additional ARPU,\u201d says Point-Topic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInternet service providers are working hard to make an IPTV service an automatic part of a product package.
