{"id":433284,"date":"2022-02-09T14:02:56","date_gmt":"2022-02-09T12:02:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=433284"},"modified":"2022-02-09T14:06:09","modified_gmt":"2022-02-09T12:06:09","slug":"chrome-journeys-takes-users-down-browsing-memory-lane","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/software\/433284-chrome-journeys-takes-users-down-browsing-memory-lane.html","title":{"rendered":"Chrome Journeys takes users down browsing memory lane"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Google <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/2\/8\/22923323\/google-chrome-journeys-revisit-old-browsing-sessions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a><\/strong> that it is rolling out its Chrome Journeys feature, which will let users revisit their historical browsing sessions based on the subject matter that was searched.<\/p>\n<p>If a word entered in the search bar matches what was searched for in a historical browsing session, the user will be presented with the option to &#8220;Resume your search&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Selecting &#8220;Resume your search&#8221; will link the user to related sites they have previously visited.<\/p>\n<p>The Journeys page will present the websites that you&#8217;ve spent a lot of time on and will also provide suggestions based on your previous search terms.<\/p>\n<p>Google said that users could delete specific sites or entire chunks of browsing history included in their Journeys.
