Toshiba has released two new Camileo high-definition (HD) camcorders which use YouTube-Link software to upload videos directly to the popular video sharing website. <\/p>\n

Reon Coetzee, marketing manager for Toshiba in Africa, says that in today’s age of advanced Web 2.0-based applications, social networking and online content sharing, consumers are demanding quick and easy ways to share their memories with others over the Internet.<\/p>\n

"Using the bundled software, which is pre-installed on the Camileo HD camcorder, users simply select the video that they want to upload to YouTube, connect their camcorder to an Internet-connected PC via the USB cable and supply their login details for YouTube," says Coetzee.
 
The new Camileo HD and handy cam-style Camileo H10 camcorders record high-quality videos in 1280 x 720p high-definition resolution and also support standard VGA and QVGA formats.<\/p>\n

The Camileo HD has an 8x digital zoom and the Camileo H10 offers a 5x optical and 4x digital zoom. <\/p>\n

Both recorders include HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface), mini USB 2.0 and TV outputs so that users can connect their camcorder to a range of display devices including a PC, high definition LCD TV or regular CRT television.<\/p>\n
