{"id":439,"date":"2007-06-28T16:36:00","date_gmt":"2007-06-28T14:36:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2007-06-28T16:36:00","modified_gmt":"2007-06-28T14:36:00","slug":"datapro-re-launches-as-vox-telecom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/439-datapro-re-launches-as-vox-telecom.html","title":{"rendered":"Datapro re-launches as Vox Telecom"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font size=\"2\">The name change represents a shift in the company&rsquo;s strategy to position itself as an alternative telecom operator offering a wider range of voice and data services. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">&ldquo;Although DataPro is well known as an investor brand, we want to reinforce in the minds of the investment community and customers alike that we are evolving into a hybrid telco that can serve all their voice and data needs,&rdquo; says CEO Doug Reed. <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">&ldquo;The original DataPro Group was very much a traditional ISP or data business,&rdquo; says Executive Chairman Tony van Marken. &ldquo;When we listed the business in 2004 it seemed logical to use the name of our corporate ISP business, DataPro, as the name of the listed entity.&rdquo; <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"2\">&ldquo;However, over the past year or so we&rsquo;ve transformed ourselves into a telecommunications service provider offering the full range of voice and data services to both consumers and businesses.
