{"id":446716,"date":"2022-06-01T06:57:51","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T04:57:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=446716"},"modified":"2022-06-01T07:06:42","modified_gmt":"2022-06-01T05:06:42","slug":"goodbye-kulula-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/motoring\/446716-goodbye-kulula-flights.html","title":{"rendered":"Goodbye Kulula flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, Comair announced that it had suspended all British Airways (operated by Comair) and Kulula.com flights with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>Comair said the suspension was forced and that it was pending the successful securing of additional funding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe company\u2019s business rescue practitioners (BRPs) have advised that the process to raise the necessary capital is in progress and that there is reason to believe such funding may be secured,\u201d Comair said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce received, the airline will be able to recommence operations, but regrettably, under these circumstances, the practitioners have no choice but to voluntarily suspend all scheduled flights until the funding is confirmed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>British Airways and Kulula.com ticket sales have also been suspended with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe deeply regret the inconvenience this suspension will cause our customers.
