{"id":44783,"date":"2012-03-02T09:56:42","date_gmt":"2012-03-02T07:56:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=44783"},"modified":"2012-03-02T12:23:30","modified_gmt":"2012-03-02T10:23:30","slug":"dstv-price-increases","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/44783-dstv-price-increases.html","title":{"rendered":"DStv price increases"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"MultiChoice\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/216214-MultiChoice\">MultiChoice<\/a> has conducted its annual price review and will be increasing the fees of their Premium, Compact, Select, and Mobile bouquets.<\/p>\n<p>Asked why subscription fees were increased, MultiChoice said that the price adjustment is part of its annual subscription fees review.<\/p>\n<p>The satellite pay-TV broadcaster increases some of its fees every year, with new prices kicking in from 1 April.<\/p>\n<p>In its notice to Premium subscribers, MultiChoice said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We at MultiChoice strive to bring you a world of television enjoyment on DStv, from compelling entertainment to unrivalled sport. Through our commitment to continuous innovation, we\u2019ve now enhanced our DStv experience by offering:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"DSTV\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/383647-DStv\">DStv<\/a> Mobile subscription to all Premium subscribers at no extra cost (T&amp;Cs apply)<\/li>\n<li>BoxOffice on PVRs to our Premium subscribers (T&amp;Cs apply)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>MultiChoice provided the following table showing which bouquets were affected.
