{"id":4508,"date":"2008-07-16T12:24:00","date_gmt":"2008-07-16T10:24:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2011-06-15T11:27:57","modified_gmt":"2011-06-15T09:27:57","slug":"multichoice-sabc-in-talks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/telecoms\/4508-multichoice-sabc-in-talks.html","title":{"rendered":"MultiChoice, SABC in talks"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MULTICHOICE confirmed yesterday that it was in negotiations with the SABC \u201con alternative channel and content agreements\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The channel referred to could only be SABC News International, the public broadcaster\u2019s attempt to launch a 24-hour news channel.<\/p>\n<p>This is despite the announcement on Monday that MultiChoice\u2019s DStv platform will no longer carry SABC Africa after the end of the month.
