This is really not on\u201d and \u201cFNB down again. I don&#8217;t believe it\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>On its official Twitter account FNB confirmed that their cellphone banking service is experiencing problems.<\/p>\n<p>FNB however highlighted that their ATMs, card transactions and online banking services were all operational this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Many FNB customers however reported problems with the online banking facility, and one users even posted a screenshot of the online banking outage.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_46226\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/business\/46222-fnb-online-banking-problems-continue.html\/attachment\/fnb-online-service-problems\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-46226\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-46226\" class=\"size-full wp-image-46226\" title=\"FNB online service problem\" src=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/FNB-online-service-problems.jpg\" alt=\"FNB online service problem\" width=\"600\" height=\"122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/FNB-online-service-problems.jpg 600w, https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/FNB-online-service-problems-100x20.jpg 100w, https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/FNB-online-service-problems-185x37.jpg 185w, https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/FNB-online-service-problems-250x50.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-46226\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">FNB online service problem<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Initial indications are that a failure in the FNB data centre is to blame for the outage. &#8220;We are experiencing residual system issues as a result of Tuesdays downtime,&#8221; FNB said.<\/p>\n<p>FNB CEO <a title=\"Michael Jordaan\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/399571-Michael-Jordaan\">Michael Jordaan<\/a> explained on Twitter that an \u201c11 500 Volt electricity spike hit our main production and backup system on Tuesday afternoon.
