{"id":46500,"date":"2012-03-26T20:00:57","date_gmt":"2012-03-26T18:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=46500"},"modified":"2012-03-28T10:10:39","modified_gmt":"2012-03-28T08:10:39","slug":"dstv-decoder-upgrades-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/46500-dstv-decoder-upgrades-tomorrow.html","title":{"rendered":"DStv decoder upgrades incoming"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a title=\"MultiChoice\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/216214-MultiChoice\">MultiChoice<\/a> will be rolling out software upgrades to its Pace 4, Pace 2, and UEC 4 decoders from 01:00 on 27 March 2012, information sent to <a title=\"DSTV\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/383647-DStv\">DStv<\/a> installers has revealed.<\/p>\n<p>These software upgrades are to add the following enhancements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search functionality (title and theme search in the TV Guide);<\/li>\n<li>Subtitles for the hearing impaired (when viewing live TV only);<\/li>\n<li>Audio leveling across decoder connectors (RF, RCA and HDMI). This solves the problem of different audio levels depending on which decoder output is linked to the TV.
