{"id":46940,"date":"2012-04-02T12:00:17","date_gmt":"2012-04-02T10:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=46940"},"modified":"2012-04-02T14:28:59","modified_gmt":"2012-04-02T12:28:59","slug":"dstv-installations-in-decline-installers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/broadcasting\/46940-dstv-installations-in-decline-installers.html","title":{"rendered":"DStv installations in decline: installers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Various well-established satellite TV installers say that they have noticed a decrease in the number of new <a title=\"DSTV\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/383647-DStv\">DStv<\/a> installations particularly Gauteng and the Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p>Some have also not been able to get their accreditation as an official DStv installer, with <a title=\"MultiChoice\" href=\"http:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/vb\/showthread.php\/216214-MultiChoice\">MultiChoice<\/a> citing market saturation as the reason for holding back on the number of accreditations they allow in certain areas.<\/p>\n<p>Asked to comment on the installers\u2019 observations, MultiChoice said that they are not indicative of an overall decline in new installations.<\/p>\n<p>MultiChoice added that they limit the number of accreditations in certain areas where there is an oversupply of installers.
