{"id":476643,"date":"2023-01-17T10:34:04","date_gmt":"2023-01-17T08:34:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=476643"},"modified":"2023-01-17T10:36:53","modified_gmt":"2023-01-17T08:36:53","slug":"apple-could-launch-new-macbook-pros-today","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/hardware\/476643-apple-could-launch-new-macbook-pros-today.html","title":{"rendered":"Apple could launch new MacBook Pros today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Several publications, including 9to5Mac and MacRumors, report that Apple will make a product announcement on Tuesday, 17 January 2022.<\/p>\n<p>However, while there is little detail on what the company could unveil, Bloomberg&#8217;s Mark Gurman believes Apple could launch new M2 MacBook Pros.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The new MacBook Pros are imminent (Apple does have an announcement tomorrow \u2014 with press briefings later this week and embargoes lifting next Monday),&#8221; Gurman <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/markgurman\/status\/1615052883715850240?s=20&amp;t=25mlXO6TzC30cnlfP-rTVQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Apple has yet to publish information regarding a product launch on its website.<\/p>\n<p>Gurman first <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/hardware\/465799-apples-next-mac-pro-could-pack-up-to-256gb-of-ram.html\">hinted<\/a><\/strong> at the M2 MacBook Pros in October 2022, suggesting that the design of the new laptops would remain unchanged from the M1 models.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The company has historically introduced new machines in November, January and in the spring.
