{"id":477145,"date":"2023-01-20T17:06:34","date_gmt":"2023-01-20T15:06:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/?p=477145"},"modified":"2023-01-20T17:11:53","modified_gmt":"2023-01-20T15:11:53","slug":"android-13-adoption-going-at-a-snails-pace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/smartphones\/477145-android-13-adoption-going-at-a-snails-pace.html","title":{"rendered":"Android 13 adoption going at a snail&#8217;s pace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2023\/01\/18\/android-13-device-distribution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>9to5Google<\/strong><\/a> reports that Android Studio has released its official Android version distribution numbers, revealing the most popular versions of Google&#8217;s mobile OS at the start of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>2020&#8217;s Android 11 was still the most widely-used version, accounting for 24.4% of users.<\/p>\n<p>It was followed by Android 10, with 19.5% of the market share, and Android 12, with 18.9%<\/p>\n<p>The latest version of the OS \u2014 Android 13 \u2014 was running on 5.2% of Android users&#8217;
